Ariann and a Big Ole Snowman
Here's my progress on Ariann. This is after frogging about 6 inches of the body because it was too big and an entire sleeve because it was too small. My gauge is apparently radically different when doing this kind of pattern in the round vs. flat. Oops. I also did something revolutionary: I washed a swatch in pattern. That's how I decided the body was going to grow too much when blocked, even though my stockinette swatch was right on. For once I listened to my inner knitter.
I've been working on Ariann exclusively since finishing Ene. It's nice to see some progress in a couple of weeks rather than a couple of months! I'm already thinking about my next sweater. I have some Cascade 220 stashed and I'm trying to decide if it wants to be a Must Have Cardigan or a Twist. Something cablely, that's for sure. I've had the pattern for the MHC in my hands twice at my local Joann's over the past few months, but it keeps finding its way back to the shelf.

It wants to be a Must Have! This is SUCH a fun pattern to knit! I am loving working on mine.
Ariann is looking really nice! I think you picked a color that will be very flattering.
I don't know what I want to knit next either. MHC and Twist are both cute sweaters - hard choices!
Cute stitching. You reminded me I have an almost finished piece sitting around. (No, really!) :)
That is a fat snowperson. Yes, very fat.
